Easter and Signs of Spring

Went up to Trysil this past weekend for Easter. We had a wonderful time. It was sunny and warm the entire time (very un Norway like as far as I'm concerned). I spent a lot of time sitting outside in the sun studying. Also got a bit of skiing in which was fun.

Also this past week there are finally sings of Spring. Today it's in the 50s, the sun is out, the snow is melting, and you can actually sit outside in the sun and feel a bit warm :) Also we are officially head of California in day light hours ... The sun doesn't set until 7:45 now, so crazy and fun!! Can't wait until the flowers and trees bloom. I'm sure we will still have some cold weather but it sure feels nice to walk outside without gloves and a hat.

Paris!

We were able to go to Paris this past weekend ... it was wonderful! Sven had to be there this week for a training class for work so we decided to go the weekend before so I could see the city. We used hotel points and got a beautiful room and lots of free drinks and food in the lounge. We walked and walked and walked all around the city. I think we saw all the big sights. My favorite part of it was just the French feeling. Oh and the food, I love the food. Out of all the tourist things I think the best was seeing the tower just because it's what everyone thinks of when they think of Paris. It was bigger then I thought and tons of people out just walking in the sunshine. I hope we get a chance to go back again in the near future, now that we have seen all the big things I would love to spend more time at some of the smaller sights.
